FSL have created the i-spi tracking device with a number of unique and innovative features that take tracking devices and immobilisers to new levels of security and safety.
RemoteGPS
i-spi gives the owner or transport manager complete control over tracking a machine at any time. Whether tracking a machine on hire or if a machine has been stolen, i-spi uses GPS (Global Positioning System) to locate the machine to within 10m. This can be done via a mobile call, a text message or email from any phone at any location across the world.
Internal Power Supply
This is what sets i-spi apart from any other device. Even if the wires to the power supply are cut, i-spi has its own internal power source which means you can continue to monitor the machine's location for up to 3 months.
Remote immobilisation
Harness the power of remote security with one click. An engine can be fully immobilised via your mobile phone, rather than needing the key of the machine and having to be beside the machine, which is especially pointless if the machine is on its way down the road. Immediately i-spi alerts the owner to inform them the machine has been moved, it can then be immobilised stopping the theft in its tracks.
TrailerSensor
Most plant theft involves a trailer as the means of transporting the stolen goods. As soon as the machine has been moved without the igition being switched on, i-spi activates, allowing tracking to start immediately.
Servicetracking
i-spi can be programmed to activate after a pre-set number of hours have been reached to allow regular service intervals to be maintained. This has an additional benefit of directing mobile service personnel to exact location of the machine.
Map sharing
i-spi can be configured to e-mail the co-ordinates of the machine directly linked to mapping software, allowing the instant display of the location. Similarly the co-ordinates can be entered into a sat nav package.
